Jennifer Rene Psaki
Jennifer Rene Psaki (American political advisor) was the 34th White House secretary. She held the post from 2021 until 2022. A member of Democratic Party, Psaki was previously the White House deputy secretary (2009), White House deputy director of communications (2009-2011) as well as spokesperson for the United States Department of State 2013-2015 as well as the White House communications Director (2015-2017). Psaki was a contributor to political campaigns for CNN from 2017 until 2020. Psaki began her professional career with an Iowa Democratic senator, Tom Harkin, and was later elected governor of Iowa. Psaki was later named the deputy press secretary of John Kerry's 2004 presidential race. Between 2005 and the year 2006, Psaki served as communications director to U.S. representative Joseph Crowley and regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki returned to politics in 2012, serving as the press secretary of President Obama's 2012 campaign. 20 years ago, Psaki was named the spokesperson of the United States Department of State. There was speculation that she would replace Jay Carney, White House Press Secretary, in the Department of State.[21However, Josh Earnest replaced Carney on May 30 the 30th of May, 2014. She returned to the White House in 2015 as the director of communications, and she was there until the conclusion of Obama's presidency.
